Changing resorts logistics help!

Taking my first trip ever to DL with the soon to be wife as quick stop on the way to Hawaii! Being a DVC member I tried to book 3 nights at GCV, but was only able to get 2 so we are now looking into staying one night somewhere in the are, but having never been, I curious as to how difficult this may be? If we stay at one of the hotels across the street, is there a path from that said to get to GCV? Looking to spend around $150 for a Sat night (10/13)

Between Disneyland Park and California Adventure is the Esplanade. The Esplanade goes from Harbod Blvd where the across the street park are, to DTD. DTD is built in a single strip with the GCH immediately behind it. The GCH has and entrance into DTD. This can easily be seen on Bing Maps or google maps.

It's about a 5-7 minutes strait walk from Harbor to the GCH entrance in DTD. A little before park open hours you pass through security doing this.

For $150 you shouldn't have trouble booking one of the Harbor hotels as long as you do it before August. Weekends get booked faster and have higher rates than weekdays.
