Changing PS's

So I have a 4:15 PS at Sci Fi. It was the latest available time. SHould I call everyday trying to get a later time???

Sci fi is notorious for looooong waits. It sounds like your PS is one of the earlier dinner ones, so while it is early you probably will make out better than later combined with that wait

Later dining times are usually made available for MGM restaurants sometime between 30 days and 3 weeks before the date. If you'd like to dine later, I'd suggest calling back every few days once you get within the 30 day time period.

One of the times that I called to schedule PS's for our July trip, the CM told me to check 30-15 days before the date I'm looking for for the later seatings to be opened. She said it's because they don't know the park hours yet.

Tried on Saturday to get a later PS time for CP on May 25th. Latest available time was around 4 pm. Today able to book 6:20 pm. Other posts have also been able to book later times about 40 days out. Another post noted mentioning park hours to CM.

Thanks for the tips guys. I tried to get a later PS last night..but CM still said that 4:15 was the latest. TOld me to call back when I hit the 30 day mark. You guys are AWESOME!

I having been waiting for later times to open. I tried at the 30 day mark for the 50s PT for May 1 and nothing. Not until I got 3 weeks before (to the day) did they open the later dates. I asked about my PS for May 3 and nothing later. So it's looking like 3 weeks before, not 30 days. I've since gone through my list and marked each day at the 3 week mark and will call when a couple of them past that timeframe. I was also trying to get a little later PS at the Plaza...right now the latest during EMH evening is 4:50PM. While I'm sure MGM dining will open for later times, the Plaza is notorius for closing early no matter what the park hours are. Tomorrow on the 16th I will call again for my May 8th times. So presently I'm now holding a 7:30PM PS at the 50s PT for May 1, but so far, it's the only late time that has openned for my trip in 2 weeks.

I just called for May 6th for the Brown derby orignally had 4pm for dinner but today I could push it back to 5pm. Which is better then 4pm.
