Changing party # at TS restaurants

63 days out and I just added my niece to our trip. My sis is moving to Kentucky and she will be staying with us until she finds a place of her own. DH and I couldn't leave a kid behind. We are traveling with friends and have booked two rooms at CBR. There will be 11 of us total. I was able to add her to a few of the ADRs but not all. So I've made other reservations and we will split the groups up for a few meals. I know I need to modify the number of guests for each ADR or I will be charged for those who are "no shows." Can I do this with MDE or do I have to call? Anyone else done this? TIA

As long as someone shows up for the ADR, you will not be charged for a no show. So if the ADR was for 6 and 4 now show up, you will be fine. If it is a place like CRT where you prepay, you will need to make sure they reimburse you for those who do not attend. But with 63 days out, I think you have plenty of time to find new ADRs with your new number. OK - it might be harder with a large group but ADRs open up all the time. Thanks so much henry72! I've been checking ADRs constantly. I've tried to find an ADR for a party of 1 to add DN to Akershus, Trex, BOG, and Ohana but haven't been successful. I did score an ADR for 11 San Angel and may just cancel Ohana but DS really wants to eat with Stitch. I'll keep looking. Thanks again.

Did you try modifying any of the reservations online? If you go to the ADR in MDE, there is an option to modify. That will let you try for a different number of people and/or a different time. You might also need to try for 12. Sometimes, even numbers work better

as another said try for ADR for 12 instead of 11. for TREX try calling them directly as they kept most ressies for themselves instead of Disney Dining. I just got one for 14 with less days out

Thanks! I haven't been able to locate the number for Trex directly. When I made he reservation Disney Dining put me through. I'm being lazy and don't want to call and be out on hold....I guess I better bite the bullet and do it.

Not to add to the problems, but 11 people in two rooms at CBR doesn't work, unless one or more is an infant. Occupancy limit is 5 at CBR in *some* rooms....four in others.

Yes. I'm aware of the occupancy numbers. One is an infant. We will have 2 adults and 3 kids (including the infant) in each room.
