Changing park reservation after 7 am

We are going in September will be staying onsite and have park hoppers. If I had a DHS reservation and at 7 am got a LL for Slinky dog and ROTR in the afternoon, would a good strategy be to change my park reservation to AK for the morning and work on stacking LL for DHS after 2 pm?

Sounds like a good idea as long as there’s availability to change your reservation that day last minute.

I’d like to know this too. To me, it sounds like a strategy that would work as long as there’s availability (as mentioned) and you planned on actually tapping into AK at some point before hopping. I’d love to know if anyone could confirm that changing the park reservation doesn’t mess up your LL selection. I’m not sure why it would but I was a little nervous to try it day-of.

It worked for me last October when I booked Remy virtual que and then changed parks for the morning. However, ever since then parks have been full so hasn’t been possible, at least all my trips since.
