I have the no-fee Disney card and I almost never use it. I don't really even want it, but I've read that canceling a card puts a hit on your credit. I have excellent credit but I see mention of product changing and wondered if I could switch out for a Chase Sapphire card or something with better rewards?

I currently have a SW card for rewards but would like something more general, too. Don't mind an annual fee if the rewards are good. We plan to do more international travel.

Check out the "I love Credit Cards" Thread. Lots of good info and lots of people to steer you in the right direction for rewards and free travel. Since your Disney Card is "no fee" I would just keep it. I have had mine since they first came out. I barely use it (maybe put a spend on it once a year to keep it active). That way it shows has having established long term credit. There are a ton of great Chase cards with much better rewards. Join us on the other thread!!

No, you can not change a cobranded card for any of the other Chase cards. Have you had it a long time? Cancelling may affect your score if it would decrease your average age of accounts or longest card. You generally want to keep your longest card for account history. But yes, join us on the I love credit card thread. We can help you figure out a new card to get. The Chase sapphires are great.

Thank you. I've found that thread intimidating, lol, but I'll give it a try!
