I'm planing a vacation with two of my kids and my cousin and her DD. I'm getting a bit worried because she hasn't put more the $200 on the vacation and has no money for the flight. When I ask when she is going to book the flight she sort of shrugs it off. We have 3 months to pay it off and she really doesn't have that much money. My problem is I booked CRT, hoopdedoo, spirit of ohana. also bbb. If she doesn't come do I have to rebook the meals totaly and lose the meal times or will they just take the 2 of them off? My tummy hurts over this!! I might be able to get dh to come so we would only need to take 1 person off. I am an over planner and get worried a bit too much sometimes.

last year i was told by a cm that if in doubt, book for the entire party & then if some dont make it, just explain that not all of your party was able to attend.
One of my ressies was a person short this yr. when i called back to check on everything (serious over planner myself). I asked if we could just add that person & she said that i would have to rebook the entire meal. this didnt make sense to me, but that's what she said. I beleive i'd stick with what you already have.

Just a thought. She may be waiting until the due date to pay her balance. I know I will wait till the due date or very close to it to pay mine. WDW does not give a discount for early payment and I believe unless there is an incentive you should pay as late as you can. Hold onto your ADR's and see what happens. Think positive.

She's on a fixed income and doing the calaculations she'd barely get enough to cover it. She is also a big spender so I fingure she'll do a few shopping spree's and blow her budget. I'm going to wait it out and hope for the best. I really don't want to go alone with 2 kids.

With the dinner shows and CRT, you do have to guarantee with a credit card. So unless you change your attending # you will be charged for all that you made the ADR for.

You can wait a little longer to see what happens and then if there is an issue I would change the ADR.

I too wait until the last minute to pay off my vacation, only because I can. Then I put it on my cc to earn points,(that i can use on vac.) & then have an extra 6 mo. to pay it off int. free. It's a pretty good perk of the disney visa, which i have been using for yrs. If you dont already have one, it's worth owning if you can afford to pay off the bal. ea. month. you also get park perks & disc. for using the card while in the world(yikes!!:scared1: didn't mean to sound like commercial)

She probably knows this an expects you'll bail her out and pay for some of her vacation. Irresponsible people are funny that way.

I just called last week to change the number of diners on my ressies from 4 to 2. I didnt have a problem except for some I had to change the time 15 before or after, but still have the same restaurants on the same days. Hope that helps!

I don't blame you for worrying because they take your CC # to book the ones you have listed here. Check the cancellation policy, some have 24 or 48 hours prior to penalizing you. I learned from experience that anything requiring a CC#, I would have the others in my party book direct this way their CC# was on file - not mine - and THEY have the responsiblity of cancelling if need be. For now just wait and when it gets closer, then call WDW b/c some charge you immediately at the time of booking. Good luck!
