Changing name (not lead) on reservation after PIF

Our PIF date is coming up this week and my friend is no longer sure about going!!! It is just the two if us. If I do PIF and she does not go how hard is it to change names if I find someone else or if I just go by myself what would any fees be? If it helps it is a free dining package booked through Disney.

What is PIF? Maybe people are not sure what that is that could be why no response. I looked and is not in common abbreviation on welcome board. Just a thought

Changing a name is easy, as long as it's not the lead guest name. As far as a fee, there shouldn't be one for changing the name even after the 45 day mark, but I'm not 100% sure as I've never had to do that. If you take your friend off completely prior to your PIF date, there will not be a charge. If you remove her after the 45 day mark, you will be charged a $50 change fee. Also, any changes made 14 days or less from arrival will incur a $15 fee.

I had to remove my husband from our last trip less than a week out. They charged me the $50 change fee and let me drop from DXDP down to the DDP we'd gotten for free. It was very painless and they were super sweet to me because I was so upset he couldn't go.

I live in Colorado too. I heard that it was 39 degrees on Berthoud pass this morning.

You could always leave him on the reservation if he still wants the tickets for a future trip then you wouldn't loose $50.00?
