Changing my dining plan

Due to being layed off last month, I'm concerned that we won't be able to finish paying for our vacation on time. We're staying at POFQ and have free dining and have upgraded to deluxe. Question is: if I call Disney and change just to the basic free plan, will I be able to keep ALL of our existing ressies (lots of TS)? I plan on in Sept, calling and upgrading us back to deluxe and paying the difference.

Yes. Your dining reservations are completely separate. Even if you cancelled your pkg entirely the dining reservations would remain in place.

my question is when free dinning offer is over July 31 if you call back after that can they up grade you to dxdp again? and it 3 days before arrival to make changes aka add dinning or delete it

Yes, as long as you do it no later than 3 days before arrival you can call and upgrade again. Payment will be due in full when upgrading inside of 45 days. Going down in price (removing the DDP) within 45 days will result in a $50 change fee.

I am doing the same thing. Right now we have the qsdp but have made all of our adrs. We will call about a week before and upgrade to the regular ddp and pay the difference. The cm we talked to said it could be done up to 2 days before arrival.

It's actually 3 days before arrival on a package.
