Changing hotel reservations...effect on ADR?

We're planning a trip and we've got reservations at one hotel, so we've got the reservation # so we can make the ADR's at 180+10 days.

But, if more of our family comes, we may decide to change our hotel. So, suppose we make that decision AFTER we've already made the ADR's, and we cancel the original reservation that we used to get the 180+10 days.

Is there any chance that would affect my ADR's?

no you will be safe from losing your ARD's
the next question would be can you add others to the ARD's since family is coming & joining you - they may try to come with you. that will be the bigger problem
you might need to add another table so they could join in then canceling if they don't come (I would do 2 tables so you don't lose yours if you have to cancel theirs - might even put it in their name so no chance of Disney deleting it)
