Our outward leg to MCO opens next month on SouthWest,, the return will be booked later. We're up in the air as to whether to fly late on 10/28 out of PHL or do the sleep 'n fly and go early the next day. The issue is I'll have to take a half day vacation on the 28th to make the flight and I can't get a firm answer to that yet. My question, if I book the late flight on the 28th and later find I can't get the time off, how hard and/or expensive would it be to change from the 28th to the 29th?

Thanks,
Bill From PA

You would have to pay the difference in fare, there's no way to know what the fare would be now for when you want to change it. SW does not have change fees. So if you paid $200 and the new flight is $250, you would have to pay $50. On the other hand, if the new flight is $150, you would get a credit for $50 for future use. It's very easy to change online.
