Changing existing reservation

For the people that already had a package deal booked and then switched it to free dining, do you get a whole new reservation number or did they just adjust your existing reservation. I asume that whatever deposit you had already put down, just gets put on the new package or do they have to refund and recharge?

they credited and recharged me. I did book through AAA though. But I don't think that made a difference

My confirmation number stayed the same & yes, they just moved the money from old to new!!

Nothing changed for us in '05 or in '06: Both years, we had everything booked, dining plan included. We simply called with the free dining code each year and the price of the dining plan was simply deducted and waa laa! Free Dining! Last year for three rooms and nine people!

I just changed mine yesterday. I hadn't paid the deposit with Visa...so they had to credit my Mastercard, and then put the $200 down on the Visa (even though I had already paid $2300 down with the visa--apparently the deposit HAS to be on Visa even if other ammounts were paid on it too). If you're booking Thursday and don't need Visa, I would imagine they'll just transfer it to the modified package.

My reservation number stayed the same.
