I have been trying to figure out why the email address shown when I make an online reservation is a VERY old one.
I looked at my profile at DVC and the email address was the right one.
I looked at my Disney.com profile and the email address was the right one.
So I called Member Services today and found out there is another place on DVC to change your email address other than your profile.
If you go to Site Registration -- this is where you can view and change your registration information for all Disney websites, including dvcmember.com.
So DVC does NOT use your profile email address and uses some other information. I haven't figured out where that other was; but it was simple to change from this Site Registration web page.
So sending this out to the group as maybe someone else has been struggling with this same thing.
