Changing Discounts?

My family is interested in going to Disney in December to see the decorations. We are worried that there will not be a discount after the Free Dining. If we booked before this weekend with the Free Dining and then something better comes out, could we switch it? How do you do that if you are able to? TIA!

You should be able to switch discounts provided there is a room available under that discount code at the resort you want (they only allocate a certain amount of rooms for each promotion).

We got a PIN for our October trip but the last two nights of our stay were blacked out. I went ahead and booked it then a while later we got another PIN that covered our entire stay. I just called reservations and asked them if I could apply the new PIN instead of the old. She checked, there was availability and I was all set. My confirmation number didn't even change, just the balance due went down.

If you book with a travel agent, you would ask your travel agent to see if you could apply the code. It will depend on whether there is availability for your dates and the room you have - if not you may have to change room types/resorts.

If you book with Disney, you just call and ask to apply the code. Again, it depends on availability under the new code.
