Changing Dinner Seat assignments

Hi...we are going on the 7nt Eastern Caribbean Cruise Jan10-17!!! We can't wait!!! Only one thing is worrying me....the seat assignments at dinner. We are a party of four adults. I get very uncomfortable eating in front of strangers and am praying for a table for four. Is this too much to ask for? If we are assigned to a table of six or eight, how do we switch to a table for four?

Have it noted on your reservation that you would like a table for 4. They will do their best to accomadate you. They actually assign tables before the cruise, so you're better off asking before hand.

If you cannot change before hand, at check in they will give you a Welcome Aboard the Disney Magic Welcome Helpful Hints sheet. On it there is a section where you can change your dining assignment. The time and place you normally can do this is at Sessions, Deck 3, Forward, between 12opm - 3:00pm.

We are three and when I made my reservation with DCL I requested a private table. We had a bad experiend on are first one and I do not want it to happen again.

First you should request it when you booked the cruise but you can try to change your dinner seats when you are on the ship. We wanted ours changed because we only wanted the four of us at the table. I can't remember where we went to change them but when we got there they told us that we would be sitting by ourselves. Our table was a table for six but we were the only ones at it. So it was great for us. So you can get them changed just ask when you get on the ship. They try though to give you what you requested. Have a great cruise and I hope you get the table you wanted!!

We had requested a table for four when we first booked.
first night we waiting in line to be seated & I told DH I was going to the ladies room and if they got to the front before i got back to go ahead and be seated and i would find them. When i got back to the dining room DH & GS was standing at the doorway waiting for me, said that they was takin to a table with about 8 people at it. DH told the waiter it must be a mistake that we were suppose to have a table for 4. We talked to the maitridi and nicely explained what our request had been and he found us a table for 4 for the whole cruise. We had late seating.

Thank you all for your info! I will call the cruise line now and ask them for the table for 4. I hope we get it! So, when we board the ship the first day I should go to the Sessions on deck 3 and make my changes. We have the late seating requested already so maybe it won't be crowded. Only 10 Days to Go!!!! YIPPEE!!!
