Changing dates again

We were originally scheduled for a 4 night trip in May 2020, then rescheduled to Sept. 2020 on the COVID 2020 discount. As NY is still under 14 day self isolation,our 5 year old will miss too much school on our return, not to mention 2 adults missing more work . So we are now planning to reschedule again to either Feb. or May 2020.

Has anyone had to reschedule their COVID 2020 discount trip? Were you able to keep your discount or were you price protected? We have an appointment with our TA on Monday, but trying to get some info before then to decide on dates.

When we moved ours, we could only push to November according to the cast member.

Today my husband and I started discussing pushing it again (with or without discount) due to reduced park hours. We know we could get everything done, but we really enjoy the parks at night all lite up—especially around the holidays. We will see.....

You cannot carry the discount over to next year.

I had no problem changing dates for later this year, but they would not keep my discount and price protection going into next year.
