Changing booking

I have booked direct with Disney, a 2 bed villa at OKW for July 2014, paid deposit and this will include free dining. Will they / would they change the booking to a 1 bed do you think, and would there b a penalty?

You have until 45 days from arrival to make any changes or cancelations without penalty for a package that includes hotel/tickets and dining. You can make changes/cancelations up to 5 days before arrival for a room only reservation. People make changes all of the time. Give Disney a call. Since you are not arriving until 2014 you should be just fine.

I'm certainly no expert on DVC, having only stayed at the Disney resorts, but how could you have booked a package for 2014 and gotten free dining to boot? The prices haven't been released yet for next year.

If you mean that you are booked for July of THIS year, then you are inside the 45 day period, so if you alter your reservation you will incur a change fee. I believe it is $50.

I'm in the uk and using http://wdtc.disneyinternational.com/ I booked this early may 2013 for July 2014. The price was higher when released in April, the 25th but when I checked back it had gone down by 20%. It's just those items, not including any flights. The offer was due to finish on 1st July 2014.

Just to clarify I'm not a dvc owner, but the villas can be booked through Disney, I went to SSR in 2011. Only the prices for SSR and OKW were available when I looked, not the others eg beach club or boardwalk.
