Changing at Seven Months - Do I need to cancel first?

"It works only if you would have to borrow some of the points to make the new reservation if you did not cancel the exisiting one."
Where did I say that? I know there was one unlikely scenario where the points didn't come available, but that was when the new reservation was in a different use year then the one you are cancelling. Since this is a technique usually used to swap a reservation for the same dates, that's not a problem for most people.

I think the idea is that if you have plenty of points to add the new reservation without borrowing, the "Borrow" button that you need to use for this to work isn't available to click. But if you have enough points to make the new reservation without borrowing, then you can just book it and cancel the old one later.

Thank you. I only have two 2015 points but glad I can still try to make it work.
I do not hold out much hope. I am a family of four and my "kids" are a dd-22 and ds-18 so we want/need at least a two bedroom (right
now we have THVs so all have a bedroom (my dd will sleep in the bunkbed room since my ds is 6'4").
I saw that there is a one bedroom at BWVs as of yesterday but my family told me last night they only want to stay in a two bedroom, not a one bedroom.
I didn't ask about two studios but I will ask about that tonight.
I really don't have much hope but it's my birthday, maybe I will get pixie dust.
Send positive thoughts LOL
