Has anyone had any luck changing there party size from 4 to 5 upon walk up? I feel assured that I will have no luck beforehand at this point. We leave next week. I would need to do this for Happily Ever after Dinner & Crystal Palace breakfast.

That's probably going to a problem, since changing a reservation from 4 to 5 people usually involves changing table sizes. I've seen people turned away at Le Cellier for this same reason. Good luck and keep trying!

We changed from 6 to 7 for lunch at Sci Fi and LeCellier in June. At Sci Fi, the cars only hold 6 so they put 2 people in the last row of the car next to us. At LeCellier, they pulled a chair up to the end of the table.

I would keep trying to change your party size before hand. While Disney would rather make you happy and seat your whole party, there is no guarantee they will have the room for another person. Most restaurants cannot simply add a chair to the table, as there is very little space between tables to begin with. Keep checking. If that fails show up for your ADR early, and keep your fingers crossed!

I'm having this same problem right now. We are going to have my younger sis with us now for a few nights, which won't be a problem the first night, but the second we have ADRs at Sci Fi and I really want to keep them since I've never eaten there. Our ressie is for just 2A, so I have called and called and they say there is NOTHING to add an extra person to. At ANY of the restaurants inside DHS. I think we're just going to try to see if we can get there early and see what they can do. I don't know what else to do. I'm NOT eating while she just does whatever in the park, and I've had these ADRs for a long time now, so I do not want to give them up.

We are also in the same situation. I booked CM for dd's birthday celebration at my 90 day mark to ensure the ressie. At the time I booked it for 3 adults & 3 children (one of which will be in a highchair). I now need to add one more adult to our ressie, but so far no luck in doing so. I'm still trying to do this, but if I can't do it before we leave (tomorrow) then I'm going to hope the consierge (sp?) can help me at our resort. Worst case, I will go to CM and talk to them in person.
