Changing a Reservation??

I was wondering about changing our reservations in Feb @ WDW. I booked 7 nights at the Caribbean Beach for my dh, myself and two sons 8 and 4. My oldest whos turning 17 wasn't going to go with us because he was going with friends somewhere else, well that's backfired, so he's going to join us on the last 4 days of our trip. I booked just a room reservation w/a AAA discount, can we change this reservation to another resort without being penalized??

I just changed my AAA reservation a few minutes ago. I have a room only reservation in April at POFQ, and I changed the number of days. There are no penalties for cancellations with room only reservations until 5 days out, when they will charge one night. So I think you will probably have to cancel your first reservation and then make the other, but I don't think there will be any penalty charges.
