Changing 40% off to Free Dining

I've had 2 connecting rooms at POP booked since March using a 40% code. If I want to change to Free Dining will they let me just convert the same reservation to a package with Free Dining (I know I won't get the 40% off any more). It's not showing any FD availability at POP for 8/23-28, but we do already have a room reserved. What do you think?

I am under the impression that you couldn't do that. Pop only has a certain amount of rooms allotted for the free dining, and when they are gone, they are gone. I would keep checking though, as the 45 day mark approaches, people might cancel and something could open up. If you are flexible about your resort, another value might have availability?

Sure cant. Completely differant availability. Another note, if you have a room only booked it will have to be cancelled and rebooked as a package with free dining (with your original deposits refunded)

There's no harm in calling to find out if you can make the change. They only have a set number of rooms set aside for free dining though so you may be out of luck. You can try calling back shortly before the 45 day mark to check for availability as people might cancel.

we changed our room only at POP to free dining.

They completely canceled our ressie and refunded our visa and started all over.

So it's a completely new ressie.

We just changed our 40% off to free dining at Coronado Springs and they just changed it and sent us a new invoice. They didn't cancel and book us a new reservation nor did they refund and charge our visa again. Just call and tell them you want to change your deal because you received a pin for free dining. Unless it's within the 45 days they will just change it for you.

If you switch one kind of package to another kind of package, and the discount is available for the room type you have, they will apply the discount to the current reservation.

If you switch one room only discount to another room only discount, and the discount is available for the room type you have, they will apply the discount to the current reservation.

If you change a room only to a package, they cancel the room and rebook the package with a new reservation number. If you change a package to a room only, they cancel the package and rebook the room with a new reservation number. (Room only is 16 digits; package is a shorter combination of letters and numbers.)

We were originally booked under a 40% off code for 12/19 to 12/26 at the Coronado Springs Resort for two adults and two teens. My husband received a free dining pin and we had to move our check in date to 12/17. Now we are staying 12/17 to 12/26 and it came out to be cheaper a little over $100.00 cheaper to add two more nights!
