Changes will be coming!!

I was talking to a friend whose son-in-law is a bigwig in Disney and he said there will be a lot of changes that will be awesome!! That's all he said he was allowed to tell me. He just said to be patient. I hope he's right!! I don't want to start a debate, but just thought I'd let people that aren't happy with the way things are now, that they will be changing.

I can actually imagine the exact same conversation happening just before they rolled out Magic Bands and FP+ too! Big changes that are going to be awesome! Of course the bigwigs think the changes are awesome. I'm afraid to see what the next mess might be....

There are always changes. That doesn't mean that they will be regarded as a positive thing by many people. I wish that I could be as optimistic as you are. I would rather that they focus on fixing the problems with My Magic Plus. It's all the "change" that I care to deal with for right now.

I expect they are forced to make changes. Can't leave things the mess they are now.

The big problem is - the cat's out of the bag in terms of using FP. Disney now has everyone FP'ing everything, due to their hyping of the great, fantastic, revised FP+ system!!!!! There's no retreat from that now. The best Disney can hope to do is to mitigate some of the problems (and wait times) that they, themselves, have created.

It's amazing to me how a corporation, supposedly as bright and as innovative as Disney is (or was), has rolled out such a mess of a system. Some of the things that are now daily negative occurrences in the parks could have been easily predicted by just about anyone with half a brain.

I hope Disney puts on its thinking cap this time around, and tries to salvage what they can and to make as many corrections as they can, so that everyone's park experiences are vastly improved from what they are now.
