Sorry if this was already posted, but I was talking to MS today and in addition to changing the booking policy, they have also changed the waitlist policy. According to the MS person that I was talking to:
1) You can now book your waitlists, 11 months/7 months from the start of your trip similar to booking your room.
2) They are stopping day by day waitlists. Instead you need to waitlist for the entire time. Obviously if you are only missing one or two nights you can waitlist for them. But if you need a block, then you need to waitlist in a block.
To me, I think that I will like this change. I am using day by day waitlists on my December trip but only because I was afraid that the openings would be booked up by someone with a day by day waitlist and there by my waitlist would never come through.
