Changes to the Wonder during dry dock?

Cove Cafe - I am not sure what you guys mean, I remember the Cove Cafe on the Wonder, I never went in it but remember being on the outside of it... on the magic this past week we went into Cove Cafe, seemed to be there and a nice play to be, what changed? I am not completely knowledgeable on this topic so just curious about what changed with Cove Cafe on the Magic

On the Magic, they did not extend the Cove Café upwards like on the Wonder to make an enclosed seating and outlook spot. On the Magic, the Outloook Bar was made into a concierge lounge.

What does this mean?
There is an enclosed hallway added to the side in the atrium on deck 5 that allows kids to go freely from the Oceaneer's Club to the Oceaneer's Lab and vice-versa even though they are on opposite sides of the atrium.

The hallway has always been there on both the classics. always.

An old shot of the magic

You can clearly see the gap between the wonder external portholes and the interior portholes.

For what it is worth, the head waiter on our cruise on the Wonder last week said that Parrot Cay will be gone. He said that it was a noise issue in that the design of the wood lead to an elevated level of noise in that room. He also said that the buffet would be expanded and totally redesigned.

That "secret passageway" has always been there. You can see the two separate portholes (on either side of the passageway) behind the chandelier in this photo I took.

Yes I know the secret passageway is there on the Wonder but when we were there last year they only used it to transport kids via the CMs to get lunch and dinner... if kids wanted to go to the lab on their own at any time - they had to be escorted by a CM on the Wonder and the CM would take the kids not through the passageway but rather outside the club, walk across deck 5 to the lab... it really put extra stress on CMs, I saw a lot of them saying, "No, you were just there, I have to man this station right now"... I always wondered why they didn't just let the kids walk freely in the passageway on the Wonder, they didn't appear to allow them to from what I saw last year, it seemed like it required supervision of CMs to transport

Edited to say that on the Magic, they allow kids to freely use the hallway to go back and forth.

I just hope they update the kids clubs to at least vaguely resemble their promotional videos.

I dont know that they will alter the secret passage on the wonder, because, although they allow kids to go from space to space with a cm, sometimes they use the two spaces for for different things. Like half the time one is not available for secure drop off.

I believe that poster is talking about the "free back & forth" now being done. Although, at times that passageway was used for storage (on both the Magic & Wonder), there were other times where kid's had to be escorted through the passageway, as well as times where kids were allowed free back and forth.

I believe there would still be a door that can be closed when one side or the other is in Open House, preventing a child in the secured programming from going to the Open House side.

What about unattended children misbehaving in the passage? I was walking by there once and happened to see one of mine in a line guided by the cm through the passage. He got out of line and started making faces at me through the glass. I imagine if a cm had not been there he would have hung out there and continued looking through the glass for a while.

Yes! My first impression of Parrot Cay when I was on the Wonder was "this place is too loud".
