Changes to Magic Key

Personally, I kinda like this. I hope they'll let us "upgrade" into it - I'd be willing to pay an extra $25 to get those summer weekdays. (I'm local now, and hitting the park roughly once a week - it'd be nice to keep that going.) But I'm a little bit worried they'll consider it a crossgrade and not allow that. I guess we'll see in January.

The only thing I can't figure out is why they didn't simply change the blockout calendar. Everything I've seen suggests that that's the only major change. (One blog was noting that the parking discount was now only valid at Toy Story, but it was already like that.) I had to wonder if they were doing this to avoid setting a precedent that blockout calendars can be changed after they're announced.

(And/or to give themselves a chance to grab another $25 from existing Enchant Keys.)

Why oh why do they insist on using this cutsie names. If they don't want to use So Cal, Deluxe, Premium etc. Maybe they could use Broze, Silver, Gold and Platinum. At least those give you some idea of what the levels are. [/Rant over]
This is so true!! I've had the top level key since they first went on sale but I STILL can't remember what it's called :D Am I Imagine? Inspire? LOL.

I wonder if they'll increase the number of blackout dates for the rest of the year for Explore. That's my concern since they did not release a blackout calendar for Explore, and it would have been easy enough to just unblock the summer weekday dates for existing Enchant key holders while increasing its price by $25.

I remember the names like this:
Imagine if I could get a reservation, I would be Enchanted if I could go on a Saturday; I Believe I can go during the holidays, and I'm Inspired to use my pass as much as I can to make it worth it!
Brilliant!!!!
