I had my heart set on the Chef's Signature Dessert Plate at Le Cellier. Yet, according to allears.net, it is no longer on the menu. Soooo... how is the Happiest Celebration on Earth Chocolate Whiskey Cake? (Hey, I bounce back quickly )
Never fear! The signature dessert plate is still there - and, to help you out, it includes a smaller piece of the chocolate whiskey cake (Also the maple creme brullee, and a scoop of raspberry sorbet.)
The chocolate celebration cake with the orange stuff was totally wonderful. We had it packed up to take back to our resort--a delightful late night snack!
Another suggestion. I thought the rasberry sorbet was to die for and I am a chocolate lover. It tasted wonderful and was nice and light after a big meal. Ah I wish I could have some now!
During our last trip we hit Le Cellier twice and between all of us we ordered all the desserts on the menu. Hands down the best were the chocolate mousse moose and the raspberry sorbet. I was really disappointed by the whiskey cake.
What does the choc cake TASTE like? Can you taste the whiskey? Is it dark and fudgy and rich? Is there frosting? Can you get the kids mousse if you're an adult on the free dining program?

It was decent. I was so full by the time dessert came tho. I would have enjoyed it more had I not been so full. I have a pic of myself with it..it is huge. I can't figure out how to share pics tho

It is very much has a dark chocolate taste, so if you don't like dark chocolate, you'd probably be better off getting something else. I thoroughly enjoyed it, myself! Could only eat half, though
I shared it with DH and DD when we were there last week, and we all enjoyed it - it did not taste of whiskey, and was moist and rich. It's too bad that it's quality is not more consistent...
