DLPToday are reporting that Buffalo Bill's Wild West Show will star Mickey Mouse from April as part of the Mickey’s Magical Party.

Considering this show is 17 years old, I think this is the first major change in all that time.

I agree as well - Im not sure if I would want Mickey as part of the show. Its a different Disney experience

My reasoning is that, to me at least, BBWWS is actually an Adult based show. I know that Kacee won't like it at the moment and the introduction of Mickey Mouse won't change that. Children of around 4-6 will love it for the animals and therefore won't care that Mickey isn't there.

However much I adore The Mouse, my initial reaction is no, no, no. :sad2:

Looking at one of the comments, it suggests it's not just Mickey invading the show.

I've not been to Buffalo Bill's (I've never really got round to it), but having Mickey there does not make me want to go see it any more - in fact it probably makes it less appealing.

Yet another "questionable" choice from DLRP - here's hoping they don't make too many more in their search for €€€€.

I totally agree this will ruin the show it is more of an adult base show if they do this for kids they should keep it for the earlier showing to atleast give people the choice

I think its a bad move. The show is successful in its own right, I don't think there is any need to change the format.

If they are aiming to attract younger children by the addition of Mickey they will have to do something about seating arrangements as well because I think Im right in saying that at the moment you dont pay for under 3 yr olds but they dont get a seat either. And the seats are not designed to make it that easy to have a child on your knee or squash them in next to you.
It makes me wonder if they will start charging for under 3s as well

Looks like its going to be Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Chip and Dale.

DW and I have been twice to BBWWS and we were not thinking of going on our next trip. But with these changes we might just go and have a look at the new show.

I actually think its a good thing they are updating it .... its been the same for long I think its nice things are updated every so often?

maybe the shows attendance was dropping?? if they do it well then it could be good but not if mickey is gonna take over the show.

Well considering I think it is one of the very best things Disney has ever created in any of its resorts, I urge you to see it (even though the experience has diminished somewhat over the years).

I wish they would cut the stupid tooning of Disney. Disneyland was rarely about toons for it it's first 40 years. The movements of the last 10 years have been abominable. Disney resorts should have something for everyone. You know what 3 and 5 year old grow up and Disney is a business that needs to rely on all the demographics.
