Please tell me you are kidding me.

No i'm not kidding you.

I don't see what the big deal is, Its not like Mickey is taking over the whole show.

Its a way to get people in to see the show who havent seen it before esp those with children.

Things change, thats life. If you don't like the fact Mickey is going to be in it then dont go and watch it. Simple as that.

How do you know if you have not been?

What a crock. Mickey and characters have already ruined far too many venues than I can count. It's as simple as that.

I really agree this is a classic show which hasnt had any change for 17 years and its still doing fine other wise they wouldnt charge 5o to 70 euros to watch it

I love disney and everything that comes with it but Mickey mouse is a bit cheesy it will have goofy come in falling over and being all clumsy where the show just is not that show

if they add the characters im not sure we will go again and i will be really disapointed if we dont

BBWWS has never interested me (Plus i dont like the food offered) which is why i have never been but i know from people i know that work at DLP that Mickey will make a small apperance during the show. To me thats not taking over the whole show.

Disney is a corperation who need to make money and if Buffalo Bills isnt making much money they are obv trying out new avenues to bring in more people and make more money. Like i said times change, and if you dont like it then dont go.

I take my perceptions from what I read. What next, let's not bother imagineering attractions based on fun fair rides and theme them to Toy Story with the possibility of seeing them from Frontierland. Oh wait....

Why is this happening? Because of guests who think Disney is all about cheap and commercial rubberheads. I remember fondly when the only place to find them were the parades and Fantasyland. It makes me sick about the attitude of modern clueless fans. They don't know what creates the "magic". Well hundreds of trips over 4 decades around the globe has taught me how to qualify and quantify what that magic is. Frankly turning DLP into Butlins will do more harm than good. What next, give people laser riffles in It's a Small World (the target is only at the end - no big deal).

Although I do not want to get into an argument on here - I am offended, and somewhat uncomfortable about the comments on this thread.

It you hate it so much then just stop going rather than depressing all of us!

What might be "magic" for you isnt "magic" for everyone else.

Just because you may of travelled to all Disney parks over the globe it doesnt make you any bigger of a fan then the rest of us.

How would you feel if all of a sudden they stopped having characters in the park? That would be a similar action. It is something that means a lot to many. If they did that, I am sure there would be similar uproar or worse.

And be offended all you like, that's your prerogative after all.

If my comments "depress" you, I suggest you look within more than without.

I am going to close this thread as I think it has now outrun its course, the reason the OP opened it was so that he could inform us of the changes to the Buffalo Bill show.

We are all entitled to voice our opinions on whether we think it is a good or bad move ~ could I take a moment to remind everyone that the DISboards are a friendly community and could we all remind ourselves of the DISboards Guidelines here. :)
