Changes in past year?

We are heading back to WDW for a day or two next week. Last time we went was for one day to MK and one evening at Downtown Disney last March. Any big changes changes I should expect? I do know of paying to park at resorts and Erin McKenna's (our favorite allergy safe bakery) is not serving soft-serve anymore but that's the only things I've really heard about.

Where will you be visiting? Disney Springs? Which park(s)? If you narrow it down, that keeps the list shorter. lol

There have been quite a few smaller changes, and of course bigger ones in terms of new rides and construction going on at various parks. If you're only going for a day or two, and only to MK again, there probably won't be a whole lot that will catch you off guard.

But as @Searc said, which parks are you going to and what are your plans? That will help us determine what changes would actually affect you or be noticeable to you.

Magic Kingdom and Downtown Disney again- MAYBE DHS but we have not been there in years!

MK and Downtown Disney again. Maybe DHS, which I would prefer, but we have 2 1-day MK tickets leftover somehow that are still valid and from what I understand we may not be able to use them at DHS since they are MK specific, even though we paid more for them at the time for MK.

Honestly, I might avoid DHS. It is a bit of a mess right now and under the most construction compared to everything else at Disney. Toy Story Land is new and very crowded, and is a really small area so it can often be elbow to elbow back there. The Star Wars land is set to open in August, and while HS isn't more crowded currently because of that, it has made HS seem more disjointed and incomplete. There are a lot of things happening at HS right now, and if your time in the parks is limited, I would avoid it and save it for another trip.
