Changed Reservation - Lose ADRs?

Okay, so I had POFQ booked for October, and made my ADRs at the 180+10 using that hotel reservation. However, I just found a crazy deal for a room at BC through Expedia, so we've booked that. I'm booked room-only, so there's no rush to cancel POFQ right away.

I've searched and found that I can contact Expedia and get my Disney confirmation number from them in a few days, and I've seen that I can then book ADRs using that number. However, I've already got my perfect ADRs, including Ohana and BOG, and I don't want to lose them.

Now that we're way past the 180, if I just cancel my POFQ reservation with Disney, that won't affect my ADRs, will it? Or do I need to wait until I have my BC reservation number, then switch the ADRs to be linked to that, and then cancel POFQ?

I don't think your ADR's will be affected at all - they are seperate from your hotel ressies.

Resort reservations and the ADR system are independent (except for the 180+10 days), so even if you cancel your hotel reservation, you're ADRs will be unaffected. (The only ones I don't know as much about are when you pre-paid for something like CRT using dining credits.) I had a resort reservation at one point and then cancelled it and got a room only reservation (new number and all), but my ADRs were unaffected.

If you remember, when you booked reservations, you gave a phone number for contact. ADRs are tied to phone numbers and not your resort ressies - that just allows you to do the 180 plus 10 days.

You can change resorts several times and it will not void out ADRs. Not to worry.

I just switched resorts and my ADRs were not affected. I made sure before doing so because I didn't want to lose my BOG ressie, the CM assured me that the ADRs are separate from your resort ressie, you don't even need to stay on property to have an ADR
