Changed dates for Orbitz tickets

We decided to take a last minute trip to Disneyland this past weekend. We had already bought tickets for our daughter for another trip we have planned in October, which I was going to use to apply towards an annual pass, so I needed to change the dates of the Orbitz tickets. I have read that this is not easy to do, so I spent a good amount of time getting this done. I started with Orbitz, who of course said I had to call Disney, which I knew was not true (which I told them), but I obeyed their directions and called Disney. Disney, of course, told me that Orbitz always does this, and they have no control over the tickets, but they did tell me to tell Orbitz to talk to their dedicated Disney rep. Talked with Orbitz again and told them what Disney said, and so they contacted their Disney rep. They finally told me that the tickets were in the system and that Disney could see them, so it would not be a problem to use them earlier. I did not believe Orbitz, but in the end, the ticket were in the system and we got the ticket in a few minutes!!!
