Change to Room Only with Discount Code

I have a 7 day res for CBR for Nov with a pin code discount. If I make any changes to the res will I loose the discount? I am considering only staying 5 days and then moving to Art of Animation LM room for 3 nights. When I made the res in Feb the standard rooms at AoA were not supposed to be open for our dates. There are only two of us and we would like to experience the new resort.

It depends on what the exact terms are for the pin. If it doesn't go against the terms they should be able to apply it for whatever portion of the reservation it is eligible for.

Dropping nights from your current reservation will not effect your discount. However, the title of your post states "change to room only". If you have a package booked now and want to change to room only, the package would have to be cancelled/refunded and room only booked, requiring a new deposit equal to 1 night's room rate + tax as money paid toward one cannot be applied to the other. With that said, if your pin code is expired, guest services would have to make the change in order for you to keep your discount as a regular reservation CM wouldn't have access to expired discounts. If you are just dropping nights from your current ressie, that can be done without any problem. Also, if your pin code is expired and you were wanting to book AoA for a few nights under that discount, that would not be possible as that would be a new reservation and the discount wouldn't apply. But if your pin code is still current, you could book AoA if there is availability.

You will have no problem changing things then if all you wanted to do was take nights away. The only problem would be booking AoA with the discount if your code is expired. Good luck .

As long as the PIN is not expired and you're within those discount dates, then you should be fine.
