Change to onboard digital photos

I cannot download my photos, either! Anyone know how to do it? I see the pics in my gallery and I’m well within the 45-day window. Help!
Did you purchase one of the photo packages? If so you should have a download icon by each photo. We bought the package and the download icon didn’t appear at first. We ultimately had to email DCL and they never acknowledged anything was wrong but responded with a generic instructional email and suddenly the missing download icon appeared.
 
I had to download them in batches of around 15 pictures (via manual select -- ugh). When I did the "Select All", I would receive an error that the download failed (even though a non-corrupted ZIP file was downloaded, but it only contained 22 images each time). It was a big pain. The IT nerd in me is trying to understand how a non-corrupted ZIP file can only contain a subset of the images. This is basic stuff that Disney is messing up here.

Be aware that they will open up a bunch of pop up windows to download multiple zip files at once. Don't ask me why they split into separate zip files but they do. If you have any sort of a pop up blocker it will error as you'll only get 1 zip file even though they try and download multiple at the same time. They have the same thing on several of Disney's other photo sites ie Disney World Photopass or whatever they call it and also the Disneyland variant. I've had the pleasure of dealing with them all. Love the photos, not a big fan of their sites :-).

If you can whitelist their site in any pop blocker you should have better luck. Chrome includes a built in one. If you go into Settings -> Privacy and Security -> Site Settings -> disneycruise.disney.go.com you can allow all pop ups.

How long did it take for DCL to respond? We purchased the unlimited photo package and here we are 15 days post cruise and all the photos are still watermarked and no option to
Download. DCL has not responded to our email.

It was probably close to 4 weeks. The trick I had was I had to contact them about a billing issue due to a weird credit card charge after the cruise. That team was more responsive and after resolving the first issue I mentioned the photos and suddenly they worked. DCL never acknowledged anything was wrong they just sent me an instruction sheet like I didn’t know what I was doing which was kind of annoying. It was a couple weeks later I got an official response to my photo ticket. I know that isn’t helpful but it is what happened. Wish I had better info. Next time I’m downloading them onboard. Love DCL but there IT isn’t their strong suit.

Thank you. We didn’t know downloading onboard was an option. The Shutters cast member only told us about the website post cruise, so that’s good to know for future. DCL has been responsive via Twitter, but only to say give the team time - they are working through emails. I appreciate your feedback.
