Change Plans due to CC?

Arriving 2/22 with four days (2/25 locked in for Discovery Cove). Currently have planned 2/23 for Sea World as that is a more leisurely day and we will be tired from travel the day before. Then 2/24 for MK and 2/26 for AK. However, Touring Plans has crowd calendar at 7 for our MK day but 5 for 2/23 and 6 for 2/26. Should we switch our MK to either of those days instead? AK has a 4 for CC on all days. DD should have the DAS pass (I know we haven't done the interview yet, but my hope is since it went through in previous interview, it should for this trip as it still falls under a condition they provide DAS for). I might also get LL for Seven Dwarves as that is a must do for us and time is money at Disney. TIA!

Any 3rd party efforts to estimate the size of crowds 3 months in advance are little more than a guess. I certainly wouldn't decide what to do when at Disney based on those. Many older threads about that topic. Likely they are mostly based on historical averages. I have no idea how anyone can estimate which of the 4 parks people will plan to visit on any given day, may as well just pick a number out of a hat.

*You* may "have no idea how anyone can estimate which of the 4 parks people will plan to visit on any given day" but the people who have made their livings doing this for decades certainly do. It's not exactly a science, but neither is it random.

OP, I've always made the effort to zig when crowds zag, and I've never regretted it. Avoiding a higher crowd day at MK would be worth the reshuffle for me.

@SwanVT2 I wouldn't switch unless there's something else more appealing, like better park hours for your post-travel day recovery. You've got DAS, you're getting ILL for 7DMT. It sounds like you know what you're doing. I'd suggest a touring plan for at least the first few steps of each morning, just because that's who I am as a person.

If you keep MK where it is, you can swap for AK that week if the weather comes into play. IMO, you have a sweet spot week. No holidays, pre spring break.

I wouldn't worry about it too much. A crowd calendar can be a helpful tool, but it's never a sure-thing. If it's a "5" or a "7", it may not even seem that different. You're still going to have fun regardless.
