We will be getting tons of trick or treaters in about a half an hour.

We surprisingly got quite a few tricker treaters yesterday too. For a country that does not celebrate Halloween, I think we got at least a dozen rings on the doorbell...and everyone was travelling in packs of 4 - 9! They tapped out all my candy!

We turn off the porch lights and front room lights. Usually we run out towards the end so we don't disappoint too many.

Okay. Because most people don't do Halloween, the houses that do put out balloons and decorations. So the kids know where to knock. We just take down the balloons.

We got orange coloured ones this year. I might see if I can get some purple ones as well next year.

How many balloons do you normally use? Does your DS go trick or treating?

We used about 4 balloons for the front gate. I have been collecting Halloween decorations for the last 5 years...so I had some decorations to hang in the front of the house. I also put another 4 balloons around the front of the house as well.
DS went trick or treating. We went to the trunk or treat (I've put a link up on our 2013 thread) and also went to a nearby street. There were about 6 houses there with decorations out.
