Change in EE policy?

Looks like he was wrong. The MP administrators have updated the thread and say that an official spokenperson has stated there is no change to the policy.

Andy

Here's AVP's post from MP in case anyone wants to read it for themselves:

This is the official policy according to Bob Deuel with the Disneyland Resort:
Quote:

Guests who stay at one of our three hotels (Disney's Grand Californian Hotel, the Disneyland Hotel and Disney's Paradise Pier Hotel) who have a valid theme park ticket for that day's admission, are permitted to participate in the Magic Morning program. The type of ticket is not relevant in these instances -- a Guest simply has to present a valid ticket, and their resort ID Card (a cardboard document with their name and check-in/check-out dates printed on it).

So, short answer from the above: no change in policy. Guests of the hotels of the Disneyland Resort can participate in Magic Mornings on any day it is offered; they simply need a valid admission ticket for that day and a Resort ID Card which shows they are a guest of the hotels.
Again, according to a Disneyland spokesperson, there has been no change in policy.

Let's hope this is the case!

Or maybe Darkbeer caught wind of an advanced change that's coming down the pipeline. And like any change in policy, takes awhile to disseminate the information to all of the hotel/ticket/and park entrance cast members?

But of course I hope it doesn't change, since we ALWAYS stay at the GCH and buy our park hopper tickets through AAA or military to save some money.

Ever since the unlimited AAA fastpasses went away there have been rumors about changes.

However I had thought they were going to enhance the Resort guests perks and not take them away.

Chopped liver here ;)

You guys just wouldn't believe me.

Not true! I just know that Darkbeer is considered media and has certain connections to mucky mucks at DLR. AVP over at MP also has media privileges with connections. Normally, DB is a very trustworthy source. And we all know you can get many different answers from front desk CM's at the property hotels.

Just needed a little bit more confirmation and waited for Darkbeer to admit that he was misled.

Thanks for steppin in and calling though. You know we all appreciate all you do! :goodvibes

I heard about the unlimited fast passes? Do they have those anymore? and where do you have to buy from to get them?

No, they don't have unlimited fastpasses anymore. You had to purchase a package (hotel & hoppers) through DLR or AAA AND you had to stay onsite at one of the 3 DLR hotels. With the dream fastpasses being given out, DL discontinued this aaa perk.
