Chances of waitlist coming through

We have a reservation booked for Disneyland hotel. We are hoping that our wait list for Grand California becomes available for March. What do you think the chances are?

Depending how many nights, room type, and whether it's early or late March, I'd say 50-50 for first half of March, less chance later - and I have absolutely no scientific backing on that guess! We've had 2 waitlists for GC come through in September, and hopefully you have the same good fortune in March.

I waitlisted a GCH 1 bedroom villa for 2 day stay in early august. This was within the first minute that the rooms were open. About 3 days later, I got the room. So it's definitely possible

So, yes your mileage may vary, obviously someone has to cancel their room in order for you to get it. I do not know how many people cancel with only a couple months left.

Also note that my waitlist was automatically converted to a confirmed reservation, so I didn't even have to do anything, which was nice.

Hit or miss. We have had success with the waitlist and success stalking. I tend to do both.

For September I had 2 days come through and 2 days not come through. So far for April I only had 1 day come through. I have a reservation already but waitlisting to match room types so we don’t have to switch rooms twice. I never count on a waitlist at VGC
