Chances of sitting together?

We just found out last week that some good friends will be at WDW the same week as us. Our daughters are about the same age so decided to make a reservation at 1900 Park Fare at the same that they had a reservation for, as there were no res's available for 7 people. Heck we were lucky to get one for 3 at such short notice. So we have one ADR for 4 people and one for 3 at the exact same times. If we tell them at the podium we want to sit together or near each other, will they try to accommodate us or it is just luck of the draw? Am going to keep trying for 7 of course, but just in case. Thanks!

Try giving them a call ahead of time. I'm sure they'll try, but the chances of having available tables that are next to each other may take a little planning.

We had that happen over the summer. One group of friends had a reservation at the same time we did. We called and had the reservations linked and all ended up together. We reminded them when we checked in at the podium.

Hrm well maybe I'll call back tomorrow. I asked today if we could "link" them with someone else that had a reservation and they said no. I'll get my friends' reservation numbers and try back in the morning I guess. Thanks!

Call the WDW-DINE line with both reservations ready. Have them make a note in the request section of each reservation and they should be able to accommodate you.

You may have some luck. When we were a party of 12 (my family and my sisters family) we were seated at 2 tables for 6 at 1900 Park Fare and that was the only place that we were not a single table.
