Chances of getting off BWV waitlist for October?

I'm a new member and I just booked a 6 night mid-October trip at SSR in a studio. My home resort is BWV, but I'm obviously in the 7th month window and my resort is full. I understand October is a popular DVC time b/c of the Food and Wine festival in EPCOT, so I'm wondering what my chances are of getting into BWV from the waitlist. Should I maybe switch to VWL instead (rationale being that it's not an EPCOT resort)? SSR isn't top of the list, to be honest (not that I don't want to try it-I'd just rather stay at home my first trip home!).

BWV was filling up for October, even before the 7 month window opened, so if you rather be at VWL than SSR, go for that. One thing about VWL, it's just a boatride from MK in case you also want to go to a MNSSHP when you're there.

I would still waitlist for BWV, you just may get it!

Yes, you can waitlist for more than one resort/unit size/room type. No points are committed until the reservation is actually made. Don't do autoconfirm if you are waitlisting by individual day for more than one resort, though.
