chances of getting 2 bedroom at BLT early December/7 mos?

I’d agree that chances are low, but not impossible. I always refer to two years ago when I was able to pick up a standard, dedicated two bedroom for the whole week of July 4th at 7 months. I know things have gotten more competitive, but the dedicated two bedrooms seem to last a little longer.

Summer time is the best time to switch around at the 7 month mark, IMO. Everything else seems to be hit or miss. Also, the 2-bedrooms, all categories book up much faster at BLT than I had anticipated before I bought.

BLT seems to book up fast. Even right now, 2 bdrm availability in early Dec at BLT is patchy...a few days available here and there.

It's the posts like this that make me tell people that the dollars they save on a "good deal" won't seem at all important when they can't get what they want when they want it. (Not suggesting that's what you did. Many of us wish we owned at multiple resorts and didn't have to pick just one).

The second week of December is much easier to book than the first - any chance you could vacation then instead? (Rhetorical, no need to reply).

Amen, you are correct! I did want BLT but I knew I would be OK with AKV ... but... your point is still so true... Yes, there is a chance we can go 2nd week. We are also considering spring break.. and would like stay at poly possibly... maybe chances are better spring break, mid march?
