Chances of BWV during Dec?

My dh and I just put in a contract on a BWV (thank you to everyone here who has given us any advice to help us make this decision) and was told it would probably take about 6 weeks to close (assming we don't have any problems with ROFR). We were hoping to get a 2BR villa at BWV sometime between right after Thanksgiving to mid-December (just 5 or 6 nights). Since we can't do anything for now, I was wondering what y'all think the chances are that something will still be open? We'd probably be ok at the BCV or WLV if we had to, but would definitely prefer BWV. Just don't want to get my hopes up if y'all think it will be next to impossible to book this in early March (when our closing will probably be final).

That time is very busy at BWV but in March you will be well before the 7 month mark. If it's not available when you close, I would get on the waitlist and then try for a backup resort at 7 months. I think you would have a decent chance on the waitlist (especially for preferred garden/pool view which is the majority of rooms). Good Luck! I've stayed there the past 4 years in early December and it's a great time to stay there! I'm in the process of making reservations for this year (doing day by day for boardwalk view 1 bedroom), Dec 4 to 10.
