Chances of 2BR WLV in October

We currently have a 2BR booked at SSR the week of October 18th. We would like to change it to a 2BR at WLV at the 7 month mark. Any idea on the chances that it will be available. I know that BCV and BWV will be booked because of food and wine, but does anyone know if WLV is busy that time of year?

Some chance but difficult time at 7 months out for VWL, particularly for that first weekend you want. That weekend and one before seem to be the highest demand times in Oct, which month is itself the second highest DVC demand month of the year. In 2013, Sat, Oct 19, and Sun, Oct 20 (Oct 18 and 19 in 2014) were gone at 7 months out for 2BR at VWL but you could have gotten rest of week if you booked 7 months out from Oct 21, indicating there may a be possibility for having to waitlist only a couple nights if you cannot get all nights.

Thanks. We will be happy at SSR if we can't get into VWL, but it would be nice to be close to MK for MNSSHP.

I booked a 2BR at WLV 7months out for a week in October two years ago. There was availability, but within days/weeks it was gone (I checked). I think you will have a good chance if you go online at 8am the day your 7mo window opens. Good luck!
