I just would like to know. Because this may or may not change my october trip from the 15th to the 18th.

There have been discounts during that time frame. Just remember, it will not be a value season so the discounts will not be a steep... now that isn't saying they will 100% for sure have them... just that they have had them prior years...

Oh I'm just hoping for something. My mom just changed jobs and doesn't have any vacation time. My last day there is now going to be solo because she can't miss that many days off of work. So if codes come out, we can still stay at the Wilderness Lodge. If not, we are going to have to move to a Moderate, which is ok.

There were hardly any discounts last October, so many folks are waiting to see what this year hold for us. I only need a one night room, so it wouldn't break me if I have to pay rack rate. Hopefully we may know by the end of August.

I think Oct is considered regular season not value. I'm going during this time also and unfortunately think this will be even less discounted. Here's hoping for a great rate code for all of us travelling in Oct. Just checking!! :surfweb:

I'm hoping for an AP discount for our Fall Break at the beginning of October. Last year, we fell into that 2 week hole when there were NO discounts. While the parks were crowded with fall break crowds, it was nowhere near as busy as the end of October; so I think the lack of codes was more due to the initiation of the on-line AP discounts. There was just that 2 week down time; and we, unfortunately, fell into it. Hopefully, we'll get a better rate this year. Otherwise, we'll go somewhere else.

I am betting that there will be rates for October. I would say the likelihood is 90% If there aren't any discounts it is because Disney is filling the rooms for that timeframe. I highly doubt resorts will be selling out in October.

I believe last year discounts were released August 28th for October 2005.
