Chance of AKV at 7 months?

I am hoping to add a Friday and Saturday night at AKV next July(at 7 months out) after a Sunday- Thursday stay at OKW(11 months out). Any specualtion on what my chances would be? Would like a 2 bdrm , savannah view but could do a one bdroom.

Traditionally, it's been easier to get Friday/Saturday stays at 7 months out. AKV is new, and for now, so much smaller, so it may be different, but call as soon as you hit 7 months check out from the first night, and I hope you get it!

I called today at 7 months out and had no pronlem getting a 1BR for a Sat/Sun in early March. Good luck- you never know!

I just made my reservation for SSR/AKL without much difficulty, I had to split the trip because there were not rooms available at AKL for the entire time, but that's ok since I like to mix it up anyway. We will be staying at SSR the first four days and AKL the second four days. This is for President's day week, and there was limited availability all the way around. I also was checking for the first week of December (what I thought was a slow time) and there was no availability at any DVC resort for the week without splitting my vacation up into two or three locations. I'm happy to have a savanna view for four nights anyway, I have always wanted to stay at AKL, it's nice to finally have the opportunity! Now the headache of travel accommodations begins, flights are skyhigh, thinking of taking the train.

When the resort is done, I think no problems at all booking at thje 7-month.
