chance of a bb offer?

We're going in May, and we're hoping to go back in January for marathon weekend, is there any chance we'll get a bounce back for that time when we are there in May? We'd love to get a good discount on a deluxe! I'd like to know whether to hold off booking until we visit in May, or go ahead and book now through AAA. Has anyone ever called reservation and received a discount on a date that wasn't yet offered as a bounce back date, ie: it wasn't a date shown on the flyer or released to the public yet? We want to stay at the BC/YC, but might have to do CR or WL if we can't get a good enough deal. TIA!

Slim to none. If youre there in May the BB will be for 2009. Usually around August is when BB for the following year start. And you cant book for 2010 yet anyway (you can reserve a room at a nonguaranteed rate, but you cant get a AAA rate for 2010)
