This is Animal Kingdom spot is listed as more of a kiosk than a counter service place-- anyone been here? The menu looks like just sitr-fried chicken and pot stickers, but frankly, that sounds pretty tasty to me. Where exactly is it? Anyone eaten there?

Has anyone tried the character meals at Ohana's, Olivia's Cafe (at Old Key West), Gullivers Grill (at the Swan), Garden Grill (at Epcot), or Liberty Tree Tavern ( at Magic Kingdom)? I have not heard anything about these dining experiences.

My DH says that Crystal Palace is his favorite so far. My 5 year old DD loves Chef Mickey and the Luau. I have enjoyed them all so far. We have tried the Crystal Palace, Donalds Prehistoric Breakfast, and Chef Mickey. Donalds had the best tasting breakfast so far, and the luau gets my vote for the best entertainment.

Thanks for the help.

Regarding the Chakrandi Chicken Shop, we ate there last June, and I wouldn't go back. We waited in line almost 1/2 hour (I know because I kept looking at my watch). There were only 2 choices of lunches at the time, and yet lines moved v-e-r-y slowly! We went there for a change of pace, but next time it's back to Flametree BBQ or Pizzafari for me!

It really isn't a kiosk, it is more like counter service.....it is right outside of Kali River if I am thinking of the same one....that chicken was on a skewer & it was scrumptious!!! I got one for myself & ended up going back & getting one for hubby....it tastes a bit like thai chicken (peanut sauce).....yummy!

Yummy, worth a small wait. The pot stickers were more like a good wonton soup with a little zip to them. They were so tasty that I could have had another batch of them. I will go there again and again. It is a great pick me up that does not cost an arm and a leg and will give you enough room for you daily mouse ears.

I thought the Chicken Satay was no longer served. We loved it, too!

Ate there last week. It is a walk up window with seating nearby. The two options are chicken stir fry and pot stickers. Both were awful. The stir fry was not fresh at all - it was sitting in a heat tray which made the vegetables mushy and the chicken overcooked. The food was also very salty. The pot stickers were bland and placed in a broth that was also very salty. Would never eat here again.

You will probably get a better response if you post this question on a new thread. This thread is about the chicken shop at AK. ;)

I completely agree with BAST, our food was awful. Too salty, did they ever think of adding anything besides soy sauce to the soup broth? I remember thinking that even my cooking was better than theirs (this is really saying something)

I had the pot stickers there too. They would have been better if they had not been in the soup. I agree the soup was too salty.
