We are staying in a one bedroom villa at Bay Lake Towers. Will Disney provide a chair of some type for the shower. My husband fell and had ankle surgery. He has to use a chair to sit down in the shower now. Just wondering if we need to bring ours from home or if Disney would provide it for us.

They will, but it will be a very basic bench - you contact a Housekeeping.
My recommendation would be to check it carefully before use. We have gotten one which had screws so loose that it was extremely wobbly.

You can also rent one - follow the link in my signature to the disABILITIES FAQs thread. Post 2 has links to companies that rent ECVs, wheelchairs and medical equipment.

I don't know if this "legal" but I need a chair with arms. We take a metal chair from the balcony pad it with towels and use it as a shower chair.

Thank you Sue I may need to rent one next time we come down to our house. I have no place to store it there. I have a clip on rail I use to get in the tub, but I was nervous standing in the shower.

I just bought one on Amazon for $25 or so, and it works. It requires no tools to put together, so it would work in a hotel room. I got it for my parents' house when I visit. It came in a relatively small box that could be sent to a hotel with ease.
