Chacos maya sandal

Has anyone worn these to the parks?? If so how did they hold up? Are they good in water (rain puddles, Kali river, etc)? I like these because they are a little dressier than the normal Chacos. TIA

I ordered these a while back but they were really tight on my feet, just walking around the house. When I returned them to REI to get a bigger size, they advised me against wearing them there. The leather will get stretched out and discolored. I ended up getting a pair of Teva's.
