Hi,

This is my first post to what appears to be an absolutely tremendous site!

I have seen some of the various Disney hotel discount codes (both on this site and others). Among these was a CGC code for residents of certain southeastern US states, including my state of GA. What I still have not seen, however, is what this code translates to in actual $$$. Does anyone know the details of this code?

Thanks so much,

Jim

Check out mousesavers.com

I would be certain she describes the various code discounts there. Good luck and welcome to the DIS!:)

Thanks. I checked out the site that you mentioned, but unfortunately, I only saw codes for Florida and Canada residents.

The code I saw was mentioned at the DIS code site, along with several other codes, but no specific discount amounts were given.

I don't really want to call just to find this out, but I may have no choice.

I don't remember what the cut of date was for the state rate for GA, NC, etc....but that the reservation had to be made by a certain date (which may have already past) to get the rate and that's why you didn't see it at mousesavers. Seems like it had be be made before Feb 12 or something.
I had a room at ASMo reserved for early Mar at $97ish w/tax on that code. (cancelled now) I'm not sure of the moderates and deluxes.

If I were you, I'd call and ask CRO about it. Just tell them you had seen that there were special rates out for your state and that you are checking on price and availability. They were able to look it up for me without the code numbers. -HM

Thanks HM.

My guess is that even if this code is valid, it won't appeal much to me as it is high season until 4/21. I'd probably be better off waiting until 4/21 and using CIF.

Welcome to the Dis wickedsox. I'm from Metro Atl, too.

I checked Dreams Unlimited discount page at:Discount Page . There wasn't a code for Georgia, but there were other codes that might apply if you can wait 'till after 4/21/02.

We are going during Spring Break and there were no discounts available during Easter week end and week following so we are having to pay rack rate at AKL.

Our county's school board is considering the extended year calendar like Henry County's. If they do, we would also have a week in September and a week in February in addition to Christmas and Spring Breaks to choose from. We are hoping that the calendar is accepted.

Thanks,

I just revisited the page, and it has changed just within the last 24 hours. The CGC code I saw yesterday is no longer listed. Guess that settles that!

That discount was only for reservations booked by February 3rd. It was for travel between 2/14-3/28 & 4/1-4/20.

Since we are arriving on 3/30, I tried to use the GA code in mid January and they had no more vacancies at that rate. I really don't know how things have been in the past (I have found out so many things I never knew before I came to these boards), but I think there is so many codes and discounts coming out of Disney that no one can predict what will be discounted in the future or for how long. I have seen one discount, Amex, that runs through part of September.

I will keep my eyes on these boards for any discounts that might come up. This is definately the place to watch.
