Central MA - another storm to watch

Missed ALL of last nights thunder/lightening & rain. Maybe we can get in on a little of this action?

So far it looks like it might track just north of us. Bummer.

Growing as I watch, so here's hoping it grows some more!! Sick, I know.

Nope, not sick at all!!! I love a good thunder boomer. Well, except for the huge birch tree that will come down in one sooner or later!!! Maybe we'll get some of that ole storm today.
Has anyone else in central Ma noticed any low flying aircraft today?? I've had a bunch, but by the time I get to the window they're gone. Just wondered if there was something going on that I've missed.

OK, server busy is TICKING ME OFF!!! I'll try typing this again.

Looks like we might get something out of this! The storm is growing & looks to be tracking south of the ALL IMPORTANT weather divider -- the Mass Pike!!

No low flying aircraft today that I've noticed. However, we are in the helicopter flight pattern for MA Ntl Guard Headquarters from ****ord to Westover AFB (Chicopee) & they fly low. And I SWEAR, when DH is riding with them, he has them BUZZ our house. Freaks me out everytime.

It almost here!!! Windy. Long rolling thunder is much closer. (love that sound) No lightening yet. No rain yet.

We had thunder/rain last night? Didn't hear it around me. Must have been either North or South of me. I really should watch the weather when I get home.

Hoping to get the needed rain for my flowers.

I work in Worcester, no helicopters flying around here, not sure about my hometown though which is south of here.

YUP....it is here and slowing down now...I am EXIT 1 RTE 395 and we had tons of thunder and then the rain came slamming down...huge rain drops and the roads flooded quickly...then a slight peek of some sun and now it is dark again and the rain is still coming down....

We never got anything last night as I thought but now this...ugh....

Round 2 just passing by 8:30pm tonight. That's 2 storms today.

This one is wicked!!! Orange grey sky! Thunder & lightening. Heavy rain. And PURPLE on the radar. We've got dime size hail on the ground.

And the temp dropped to 68....and still dropping!!!!

Now to cool off the house which is at 82. uck!

The bad stuff just went through my area in north central mass. Now we are left with the most wonderful cool breeze and lots of rumbly thunder.

I just love rumbly thunder, I wish I could listen to it all night!

Getting a little thunder right now, but I haven't seen any rain/lightning yet.

Zen, I think its pretty much fizzled out. Looks like rain is all you're going to get!

My rumbly thunder is gone as well, hopefully it will survive the trip to Littleton for you! You're not that far from me!

I'm in Northbridge!!! We had a pretty nasty storm at about 2:30-just in time to pick up DD at her school.

We're getting hit pretty bad right now too!! I keep thinking I should get off the computer, I just can't!

Hi neighbor, I live in Douglas. My youngest DD goes to the daycare in Linwood.

It rained again sometime in the middle of the night. Love those kind of storms. Rain at night, sun during the day.

I love those type of storms as well. Although, we had a TON of lightening last night..not much with the Thunder but the sky went from dark to bright yellow and bright red to PITCH BLACK....weird...really weird!!!

My oldest DD's father lives in Webster. There is a few guys that I work with live there. Small world indeed.

I missed seeing the sky last night. Did here the thunder for a bit but nothing too loud.

Webster is the next town over from where I live/work. DSs Godmother lives in Webster. DH has 2 brothers who live in Dudley with their families. Ive been spending time at Wallum Lake in Douglas this summer/spring.

Even smaller world, since I'm the OP....and I was supposed to move to Northbridge to a new condo off Hill St. That was until I quit my job in Feb. So, now I stay here.
