Does anyone know which restaturants are best for a person who has Celiac's disease?
ie - wheat allergy, gluten free diet

Any suggestions ?

You should be fine with pretty much any restauarant...they can all accomidate as long as you let them know at the time of the ADR that you have a celiac in your group. My mom has celiac, and Disney's an easy place to visit because it's great being able to find food for my mom to eat.

Hi, I have been going to Disney for the past 5 years with Celiac's. It is a celiac's dream place to be. You can go to just about any Table service and they will accomodate you. My favorites are: Liberty Tree Tavern ( they serve you just about everything that the rest get, and they just got Amy's mac and Cheese, you even get a gravy), Hollywood Brown Derby (gotta try the cobb salad, and creme brulee for dessert), Sci Fi ( I get my Rueban sandwiches there) I even go to Garden Grill. For Breakfast 1900 Park Fare (they will make you pancakes) O'Hana's ( you get Mickey waffles). Those are just some of my top favorite spots, but I have been all over and have never had a problem. Make sure you tell them when you make your ADR's that you need gluten free. When you get to the restuarant tell your CM and they will get a Chef to talk to you. Most of the Chef's really go out of their way to please. But, I have always been happy. I even ate at Boma's(ask for Chef TJ) I didn't realize that they have many Chef's on duty and my second trip I got someone else. Chef TJ, enjoyed making a bunch of special dishes for me. You should email Brenda.Bennett@disney.com she is wonderful, she will give you some of the park foods and such that you can eat. Last year the popcorn, dole whips and turkey legs were all gluten free. They probably still are, but get a new list any way. I asked her about the caramel apples sold on main street and they were gluten free too. You need to verify it with her, they do change vendors often. Any more questions feel free to ask, I even have been on concierge floors since my Celiac's. Happy Eating:)
